Augusta Golf Guide

Augusta National Golf Club
OK, you must be a member or possess a ticket to see this, but perhaps you are one of the lucky thousands. Located along Washington and Berckman roads, the Augusta National Golf Club is the location of the annual Masters Golf Tournament - "a tradition," as CBS so duly notes, "unlike any other." The tournament, one of golf's four majors, was the idea of golfing legend Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts. The first tournament was March 22, 1934. Beginning in 1940, the Masters was scheduled each year during the first full week in April. The course's beauty is as much of a strength as its tradition.
