Spending whole week a highlight

Jack shot a 74. I guess the high point of the day was a birdie at No. 12.
Some days they go in, and some days they don't, but like I said, it's always great to spend the whole week in Augusta.
All the children finally are here.
Everybody does his own thing at the course, but basically I think we ended up on the same place on every hole. When you've come to a golf course so many years you develop your own routine for going from hole to hole. They know my places on each hole. I really had a good time in the gallery today knowing they were all there.
The kids are going down to Luigi's for dinner.
They were all kind of excited. Even though they see each other a lot, I'm not sure they've all gone out like that for years.
They said, ``Oh mom, you don't have to cook for 20 people every night, we'll go out to eat Saturday.''
We could go out if we wanted to. People recognize you, but they're very considerate. That's all part of the life, and it's a compliment.
For dinner we're having pasta with tomato and basil, and steak and salad.
Jack played well on Friday, and he ate steak on Thursday night so I'm going to try it again.
We really haven't considered having meals catered.
The two couples we always come with, we all get along so well everyone just shares the kitchen. I've always done my own cooking and I like my own kitchen.
On Sunday we'll pack up what we can and try to clean up the house before we go to the course. After the tournament we'll come back to the house and get everything else packed.
Jack has his own plane at the main airport. We'll be back in North Palm Beach on Sunday night.
Next week is the PGA Seniors' Tournament. It's at PGA National (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) just about five miles from our house, so we get to stay home.
We've really had a nice week in Augusta. I think the best parts were having all the children here for the first time, Jack's strong round on Friday, and getting to stay the whole week.
We're looking forward to the unveiling of Jack's statue for the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame (scheduled for this summer). And of course we always look forward to coming back to the Masters every year. We'll be thinking about that drive down Magnolia Lane in January.
