A winner in Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong in 2004, Padraig Harrington also finished second at the Players Championship for the second year running.

Travel to both tournaments and you’ll come away feeling that the Players and the Masters have much the same feel to them - with top players contending every year, being blasted by huge roars from enthusiastic galleries in a dramatic theater setting. And many of the same players find success at both.

Harrington, ranked eighth in the world, has yet to win in America and the Masters is a tall order for a first victory. But as he improves every year, Harrington can’t be many years from that breakout season that so often leads to a string of victories and a major championship.
