The 2004 Players Championship and victory at the Booz Allen tournament in May moved 24-year-old Adam Scott from a young “up-and-comer” to elite status on the world golf stage.

Needing a 10-foot putt to avoid a playoff with Padraig Harrington at the Players Championship last March, Scott showed the inner strength all great champions possess.

Ranked No. 11 in the world, and No. 7 on the U.S. money list in 2004, Scott has three victories in America, six in Europe and more in South Africa and his native Australia.

Scott has patterned his life after his hero Greg Norman and his swing after former practice partner Tiger Woods . If he can hold on to both of those, Adam Scott will be on this list for the next two decades.
