Who's Hot: Retief Goosen
The South African struggled to get mentioned alongside the quartet of golfers known as the Big Four this week, but only Tiger Woods outplayed him.
Goosen started Sunday with birdies on the first two holes, then made bogey at the third. It would be his last of the day.
On the back nine, Goosen rattled off birdies on Nos. 13, 15, 16 and 18. He finished with 5-under-par 67 and a tie for third.
Who's Not: Phil Mickelson
The 2004 Masters champ stumbled to a final-round 74 and lost his head-to-head matchup with Vijay Singh in Sunday's final round.
Mickelson shot 1-under-par 35 on the front nine and appeared ready to make a back-nine charge reminiscent of last year. But he made double bogeys on Nos. 12 and 16 - two holes he birdied a year ago - and wound up in 10th place.
Wild Card: Luke Donald
The Masters first-timer had an uneventful front nine Sunday, making one bogey and eight pars. He made double bogey at the 10th to fall off the leaderboard.
Then the fireworks began. A birdie at No. 11 was followed by eagles on Nos. 13 and 15, and he added a birdie at the 16th for good measure.
He parred in for 69 and a share of third place.
Donald didn't win, but only three first-timers have at Augusta: Horton Smith, Gene Sarazen and Fuzzy Zoeller.
