John Daly in Augusta, not at the Masters

John Daly is not playing in the Masters Tournament. Instead, he will serve as the head rules official for the Hooters Wing-Eating World Championship when he certifies the wings to be used in the wing eating contest to occur later in the day.

Daly's wing certification ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. at Hooters on Washington Road. The eating contest, headlined by Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas, will take place at 8 p.m. at the same location. This is the first of more than 10 wing-eating contests that will occur as part of the Hooters Wing-Eating Circuit.
