McIlroy top choice to win Masters

Rory McIlroy remains a strong favorite to win this year’s Masters Tournament, while Tiger Woods’ stock has dropped.

McIlroy is now 9-2 to win at golfodds.com after he cruised to a victory in Dubai over the weekend.

Woods, meanwhile, fell to 20-1 after he missed the cut in Phoenix with a second-round 82. It was the worst round of Woods’ PGA Tour career.

Defending champion Bubba Watson, Adam Scott, Jason Day and Jordan Spieth are the second betting choice at 15-1.

Three-time Masters champ Phil Mickelson is also at 20-1. Like Woods, he missed the cut in Phoenix.
McIlroy opened at 6-1 after winning the British Open and PGA Championship last summer.
