Weather update

According to a weather update from the Augusta National Golf Club, thunderstorms are expected to remain in the area through the afternoon. Rainfall is expected to be between 0.50-1.00 inches.

There's an 80 percent chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms at 2 p.m. Two hours later, the forecast improves to a 40 percent chance of showers and a slight chance of a thunderstorm.

Play remains suspended, with the course closed until further notice.
