If you haven't already been to Barberitos in Daniel Village on Wrightsboro Road, you should devote your next lunch outing to this recently opened Southwestern grille and cantina.

Upon entering the restaurant, you'll see a huge yellow-and-red menu hung on the wall directly to the right for your convenience. Straight ahead, you'll find a cook behind a wall of plexiglass and a counter of delicious food waiting for your order. You get to watch as the chef prepares your meal.

As he passes your order to the next preparer, you move along as though you are part of an assembly line. You then get to choose from a variety of condiments. Once you've completed your order, you pay the cashier, and take a seat.

I made a trip to Barberitos with a friend and her mother recently.

I ordered the Skinny Burrito on a spinach tortilla with chicken - it wasn't skinny, by any means. The burrito was stuffed with rice, beans, cheese and salsa. I added lettuce and sour cream. The dish also was served with tortilla chips. You have a choice of regular tomato salsa or green tomato salsa. Both are delicious, but I prefer the regular tomato salsa.

The meal, which took less than five minutes to receive, took me the entire hour to eat - and I still couldn't finish it. All was well, however, because my leftovers went to a co-worker, who absolutely loved the burrito.

Barberitos also offers vegan and vegetarian items.

In addition to the Skinny Burrito, you can get burritos such as the Fatty, Heavy D, Vegetarian, Super Vegetarian and Vegan. Anything "Heavy D" on the menu consists of sour cream and guacamole. The menu also includes tacos, quesadillas, salads, munchies, nachos, beverages or bottled beer. There's also a menu for children.

The decor is bright and colorful, with a ceiling that's painted purple and walls with a yellow-orange adobe look. Decor includes metal suns, eclectic art, T-shirts for sale, and a board of photos. Sultry music plays in the background.

Space is limited, so choose your time to visit carefully.

You may find yourself visiting Barberitos more than once a week. I've already eaten there twice in one week and I plan on going back this week.
