Singh's answers as short as round

Vijay Singh's post-round analysis was just like his Saturday round at the Masters Tournament.
Mostly incomplete.
Inclement weather meant he spent only about an hour on the course Saturday before play was suspended because of darkness.
Rain that dominated the day pushed his 2:40 p.m. tee time back by more than four hours.
That was not much of a performance for the 2000 Masters champion to address in front of Founders Circle. Singh allowed the media 49 seconds to discuss his Saturday play.
"My round?" he said. "There's nothing to say. I played four holes. I'm in good position on five. But it's really hard to evaluate what you've done."
Singh missed putts within eight feet on Nos. 1 and 2 that could have improved his standing going into a marathon day of golf.
"There was a lot of putts out there that I wish I had back," Singh said. "I've got a long day tomorrow. I just have to dig deep down and just play hard. That's my thoughts for tomorrow."
Singh trailed Chad Campbell by three shots to start the day; he now is four behind. Singh had his chances to find a similar surge like the one that drove Tim Clark to within one shot of Campbell, but an errant tee shot on No. 4 cost him a bogey.
"It was pretty easy out there," Singh said. "There's no wind. The course and the greens were receptive. Lot of birdies out there, like you saw. But you've got to be careful. One bad shot and you can make bogey. That's what happened (with me)."
He hit two of four greens Saturday and three of three fairways. He missed his only sand save opportunity. Singh didn't have to scramble quite as much as playing partner Fred Couples during their short time on the course.
Singh blasted his opening drive far down the middle of the fairway. Officials who charted the hole said they saw only two or three tee shots Saturday that equaled or bettered it.
