After a tee shot of more than 280 yards , Olazabal hit his best shot of the week.
His 5-wood from 246 yards came to rest 18 inches from the hole, and the tap-in eagle putt briefly pulled him within one shot of Phil Mickelson.
"I've hit a few good shots during the week, but not under those circumstances," Olazabal said after tying for third.
