Augusta Regional Airport is seven miles from downtown Augusta on Doug Barnard Parkway, south of Bobby Jones Expressway.

More than 200,000 airline passengers per year take nonstop flights from Augusta Regional Airport to several major airline hubs.

The airport has two intersecting asphalt runways.

The North-South runway (17-35) is 8,000 feet by 150 feet and is equipped with a Category 1 Instrument Landing System. The East-West runway (8-26) is 6,000 feet by 150 feet.

Both are equipped with high-intensity runway lights.

Avis, Hertz, Budget and National provide in-terminal automobile rental service.

The airport hotel has a restaurant, a lounge and a meeting room, and long-term and short-term parking is available.

Augusta Regional Airport also offers full-service air freight facilities, complete with loading docks and air side ramp access.

Major maintenance is provided by Garrett Aviation, a subsidiary of General Electric.

The airport has a fixed base operator, Bush Field Aviation Services.

Closer to downtown, Daniel Field services charter flights in and out of Augusta.

Daniel Field has VOR and MDB navigational systems. There are two lighted runways (3,773 feet and 3,877 feet) with aircraft tie-down and hangar availability.
