BADGES REQUIRED AT SHOP: Although Masters Tournament items are available for sale at an outdoor golf shop outside the main entrance, only patrons are allowed to shop there, according to Augusta National Golf Club officials.

The golf shop is near the main gate on Berckmans Road, where tournament patrons enter the course. Because of security concerns and the volume of patrons who must enter there, a decision was made to sell only to those with tournament badges.

NO CHARGE TO PARK: Augusta National Golf Club will not require parking passes for tournament patrons who use the approximately 6,000 free spaces created off Berckmans Road during the past two years.

The free parking had been available to everyone during practice rounds and the Par-3 Contest, but a parking pass was required during tournament play.

This year, parking is free but on a first-come, first-served basis, according to club officials.
