In 1963, Jack Nicklaus became the youngest Masters Tournament champion. Seventeen years later -- in 1980 -- Seve Ballesteros eclipsed his record. In 1997, Tiger Woods then broke Ballesteros' mark, becoming the youngest green jacket winner at age 21.

Seventeen years after Woods' win, Jordan Spieth can continue the Rule of 17. If he wins today, Spieth will become the youngest Masters winner at 20. And if he wins today, we'll talk about the Rule of 17 again in 2031.
