Four players are expected to move into the top 50 in the World Golf Rankings and earn Masters Tournament invitations.

Englishmen Tommy Fleetwood and Ross Fisher, South Korea’s Jeunghun Wang and Japan’s Hideto Tanihara had not previously qualified. The Masters invites players ranked in the top 50 the week prior.

Fleetwood (No. 33) and Wang (No. 45) were inside the top 50 at the start of last week, but Fisher and Tanihara moved up thanks to their strong play at the World Golf Championships-Match Play event. Tanihara reached the semifinals and Fisher reached the quarterfinals.

This will be the first Masters appearance for Fleetwood and Wang. Tanihari played in 2007 but missed the cut, while Fisher played four consecutive times from 2009-2012 with his best finish a tie for 15th in 2011.

The four additions brings the expected starting field to 94 players.
