Azaleas added an array of pink and white to the green of Augusta National Golf Club as patrons made their way around the course Monday.

Christine Turnbull and Caroline Shaw stopped to pose for a photo in front of the flowers.

"The flowers are just so gorgeous and absolutely beautiful," Turnbull said.

The flowers were also an eye-catcher for her husband, Tim, who planted azaleas in his garden. He compared his to the ones at Augusta National.

"It doesn't even compare," he said, gesturing to the pink and white blossoms.

Sue Cserer, 66, took in the scenery at Amen Corner. She was intrigued with the way the surrounding pine trees made the pink and white flowers "pop."

"It's pretty amazing and beautifully landscaped," she said. "We took a whole lot of pictures."

Brock Holley, 27, of Chattanooga, Tenn., had a similar opinion about what he saw.

"They're gorgeous and in excellent shape," he said. "The warm weather maybe made it bloom a little early."

Scott Weaver, 60, said Amen Corner will always be his favorite spot.

"It's kind of where people make a move on Sunday," he said. "You can see both greens and it's amazing to see it (the azaleas) in person."
