Arizona resident and University of Georgia graduate Bubba Watson has won his first Masters Tournament, using a five-under 67 on Sunday to make it to a playoff at Augusta National Golf Club.

Both Louis Oosthuizen and Watson missed key putts on the first hole of a sudden death playoff at 18 before making par, sending it to a second playoff  hole at 10.  Watson had a bad tee shot, but recovered for a second shot out of the pine straw onto the green and two putts with a chance to win. Oosthuizen's tee shot landed in the rough, but he played the second shot short of the green before scoring 5.

Down the stretch, Watson fended off competition from Louie Oosthuizen, Lee Westwood, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington, Peter Hanson, and Hunter Mahan.

Louis Oosthuizen's double eagle on the par-5 second hole may be the signature moment of the 76th Masters Tournament, but it wasn't enough to secure the green jacket. Both players had birdies on 15 for their final moves of the Sunday round.

Bubba Watson improved to 3-1 in PGA Tour playoffs, while Oosthuizen fell to 0-1 in tour playoffs.
