After a year hiatus, a Masters Week tradition is returning to Augusta.

City organizers will bring back the Par 3 Partee on Wednesday, April 8, from 4 to 10 p.m. at a new venue, the Julian Smith Casino, 2200 Broad St.

The annual event began in 2010 as the unofficial after-party of the Masters Tournament Par-3 Contest, but was cancelled in 2014 because of a lack of volunteers to host the gathering at the Augusta Common.

This year’s event features live music on Lake Olmstead from the Swingin’ Medallions with local support from Delta Cane, The Phillip Lee Band and cover music from the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils.

The event also will have Fat Mans & Relish Food Trucks, craft-beer trailers, a mobile mixed-beverage bar and a smokers lounge for VIP guests by Marcellas Cigar Lounge underneath the BBQ Pit Patio.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. For more information, call (706) 796-5025 or visit augustanightlife.com.
