Masters menu change includes healthier option

Chicken sandwich replaced by wrap

Traditional menu items such as the egg salad sandwich and pimento and cheese are still available at the Masters Tournament concessions stands, but another classic sandwich has been replaced with a healthier option.

The chicken sandwich, served cold in previous years, is no longer on the menu. A new grilled chicken wrap has taken its place.

Brian Cassidy, making his first visit to Augusta National Golf Club as a guest of Electrolux Corporation, said he was pressured by his friends to go with one of the traditional sandwiches but chose the new item instead.

"It hits the spot," he said. "It's cold, which is what I wanted."

The sandwiches are available for $1.50 each at the food court closest to the main gate. The new grilled chicken wrap is $3.
