Jack Nicklaus turns 80 today. The Golden Bear achieved remarkable success, both on and off the course, and is still the gold standard with his 18 professional major triumphs. Nicklaus won all over the globe, but he seemed to save his best moments for Augusta and the Masters Tournament. He overpowered Augusta National Golf Club to win three times in the 1960s, never finished out of the top 10 while winning twice in the 1970s, and saved his best for last with his stirring comeback in 1986.
